McLaren Vale in the heart of the Mclaren Vale Wine Region is 39 kilometres south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. You can be in the region in less than one hours travel time from the centre of Adelaide.

The area enjoys a Mediterranean type climate, being situated between the southern Mt. Lofty Ranges and the sea. These conditions are ideal for the production of the world class wines produced in the area.

The Motel is ideally situated as a base for visiting local wineries and beaches or touring the Fleurieu Peninsula in general. It is only 8 kilometres to Moana and Sellick's beach, even less to Maslin nudist beach, or 40 minutes to Hahndorf, Victor Harbor, Goolwa, Cape Jervis, Glenelg, Adelaide and the Casino.

By Car - Directions from Airport (39 km)
To get from the Adelaide Airport to McLaren Vale leave the airport down Sir Richard Williams Ave and Turn Right at the airport gates on to Sir Donald Bradman Drive, then when you come to the first major cross road turn Right on to Marion Rd (A14).

Stay on Marion Rd (A14) until you see an over head sign (approx 11km) (**see Southern Expressway) that says South Rd (A13) turn right and follow South Rd (A13) until you see another overhead sign at Old Noarlunga (approx 21km) you will then via Left onto Victor Harbor Rd for approx 7km when you see a sign to turn left into Main Rd McLaren Vale, drive past the McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Visitior Centre and the McLaren Vale Motel is the Next turn Right.

By Car - Directions from the Adelaide CBD
Exit the city via ANZAC Highway (A5) and turn left onto Main South Road (A13). Follow Main South Road (A13) until (**see Southern Expressway) you see another overhead sign at Old Noarlunga you will then via Left onto Victor Harbor Rd for approx 7km when you see a sign to turn left into Main Rd McLaren Vale, drive past the McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Visitior Centre (on your left) and the McLaren Vale Motel is the Next turn Right.

** Southern Expressway (M2)
If the Southern Expressway (M2) is open (reversible freeway) take this right turn off and take the freeway to the end. This will take you direct to Old Noarlunga.

Monday to Friday	2PM to 12:30AM
Saturday to Sunday	2AM to 12:30PM

By Train & Bus
Trains depart the Adelaide Railway Station (on North Tce) for Noarlunga Centre every 25 minutes (Mon - Sat) and every 30 minutes (Sun). Take the Noarlunga Centre line train and get off at the last stop, Noarlunga Centre.

Catch the Southlink Coach Route 751 (5 return trips Mon - Fri) to McLaren Vale and step off at the McLaren Vale Visitors Centre stop. The Motel is then a short walk south and is located at the next corner on the right hand side of Main Rd.

By Coach
Premier Stateliner Coaches depart the Adelaide Central Bus Station (111 Franklin St, Adelaide) for McLaren Vale (4 return trips Mon - Fri, 2 on a Sat and 1 on Sun). Contact Premier Stateliner (Ph 08 8415 5555) for a timetable.

By Bicycle
A bicycle track runs parallel to the Southern Expressway from Bedford Park to the McLaren Vale Visitors Centre. From the Centre it is a short ride down Main St to the motel located at the next corner on the right hand side of Main Rd.
